 Scotopic Endeavors is a venture name for two projects, Scotopia Press and NewScope Films. Both are projects designed to stimulate and entertain with works of dark fiction and horror. The goal of Scotopic Endeavors is to bring about a more intellectual and artistic form of dark entertainment as well as professional quality to the audiences and to readers throughout the United States and beyond. Scotopia Press is designed to bring you dark fiction literature by, currently, two means: the Dark Distortions anthology and limited collectors editions of the Frightscripts novella books. Scryvein 1. a person who scribes darkness from their own minds; ie. those who tell dark stories. 2. a person who sees darkness in themselves and uses it to expand awareness. |  The Dark Distortions series became a special sort of anthology, not only including the darkest slipstream and crime with its horror, but in size and styles as well. It includes poetry, flash fiction, short stories and novelettes - all found in one book for the quick reads at your doctor's office or for those long, lonely nights at home. It attempts to serve dark fiction for a variety of tastes or for those who just love to read anything born in the dark.
